RIP Lotus Eletre.
No one in their right mind is going to spend US$110k on an Eletre when they can get a Macan 4 for $79k. Yes, the Macan is slightly smaller, but I don’t think most people will notice.

We don't have a lot of domestic rituals around here but one we do have is every year about now, or really usually earlier - it's been wet - I notice that the lawn is languishing and it must be time to turn on the sprinklers for the season. Or rather, it's time to figure out in what crazy ways the sprinkler system has become busted since - *checks watch* - late October. Plants grow in front of the heads, water stops coming to the heads, or the heads just spontaneously disintegrate from sunlight losing pressure in the whole circuit. They sell slightly more robust partly-brass heads but those bust too, and you're never going to be able to fix one of those by massaging it like you can half the time with the plastic heads. This year, amazingly, 90% of everything is 90% working which is good enough. The odds of the sprinkler computer surviving through the Winter un-reset are low, and they didn't come through this time around, so I had to reset everything. I am covered with little cuts from the six types of unidentifiable spiky vegetation I'm sure we never planted that was defending sprinkler heads it had seized, to keep all the water and leave none for our unassuming monsteras.
